I DO NOT CONSIDER TIWA SAVAGE MY BESTY; SHE'S JUST MY COLLEAGUE - YEMI ALADE

The current best female artiste in Africa, made the revelation in a chat with Punchng. When asked about her relationship with Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay and Chidinma, she said:

"I don’t know why the media takes pleasure in pitting great women against one another. .
Have you ever seen any text message from any of us lambasting another person? There’s no proof of these things; it’s just in the imagination of people. I’ve never stopped working and I was already working before Tiwa Savage relocated to Nigeria. .

I am a fan of their music, and on my Snapchat page, I usually dance to their songs. I do not consider Tiwa Savage a friend because I don’t know her favourite colour or meal and other intimate things. She is just my colleague."

LINDA IKEJI SHARES HER ENCOUNTER AT MISS NIGERIA 2003, PLUS HER "DISAPPOINTMENTS" AND "SUCCESS" SO FAR

In an early post this Morning, celebrity Blogger +Linda Ikeji  shares her success story, recounting her experience and disappointment at the Miss Nigeria 2003 contest.
Read below:

These are photos of me at a beach party organized for contestants of the 2003 Miss Nigeria pageant. I bet some of you didn't know I once contested? I told y'all I was a hustler back in the day..lol. Anyway, I desperately wanted to win the pageant because I believed I could use the platform to achieve my other dreams. I imagined all the possibilities, starting an NGO, having a TV show, rubbing shoulders with important people etc. I was a little famous back then as a model and when word got out that I was contesting, many of the soft sell magazines reported it.

About a week before the pageant, I was so sure I would win it that I started making plans for life after being crowned Miss Nigeria 2003. Most of the models and designers in Nigeria were behind me, even the press, so what could go wrong? Plus I'd organized the Miss Unilag pageant for 3 consecutive years so I knew what it took to win a pageant..or so I thought!.

And then the day of the pageant came. After all the 26 contestants were introduced on stage in different costumes, it was time for the Top 10. We were all asked to go backstage so they could call out the 10 girls who had advanced to the next stage. I remember standing backstage with a huge smile on my face waiting for my number to be called. It was never called. Continue...

At first I thought it was a prank, that the organisers were just playing with me. That they would say a mistake was made and my number was omitted, and ask me to come join the other girls on stage. Then I heard the MC say 'ladies and gentlemen, these are your Top 10 contestants'. Then I saw all the other contestants who didn't make it taking off their jewelries and costumes. Some started crying, others were hugging each other but I didn't move. I couldn't believe it. Even if I didn't win the pageant, but not to even make Top 10? I was just standing there, unable to move...until a male model friend of mine came to hug me and told me 'all will be well'.

As I slowly started removing my costume, I remember thinking it was the end of everything I had planned for my future. I felt like a failure for weeks following the pageant. I was mostly in a daze, wondering what to do next. I'd thought being Miss Nigeria was the best thing that could happen to me. And that dream was gone, and with it, all the great things I could have done or become.

But you see people, I forgot for one moment, that there was God. If only I knew that He had better plans for my future. Because you see, if I had won that pageant in 2003, I never would have - 3 years later - thought of starting a gossip blog. I probably would have thought it was beneath me as a former queen. My life would have taken a different turn...but that wasn't God's plans for me. So that disappointment was a huge blessing!

You see, sometimes, some of the most amazing blessings happen when things don't turn out the way we hoped it would. We think it's the end when it's just a bend leading us through the right path, to where we are really meant to be. You have to trust that God knows what He's doing in your life. Sometimes, He will not give you what you desperately want because He has planned something way better for you.

So when disappointments happen in your life, don't worry too much about it. Just trust God, stay patient and trust your journey.
All the best!
Linda

INVITING COMEDIAN TO CHURCH IS WRONG, MIKE BIMBOLA BLASTS "PASTOR'S"

INVITING COMEDIAN TO CHURCH IS WRONG, MIKE BIMBOLA BLASTS "PASTOR'S"

Ace Christian dramatist and founder of Mout Zion Faith Ministries, Mike Bamiloye has slammed men of God who are in the habit of inviting comedians to crack jokes during church events.

The respected gospel actor-cum-director said it was not funny at all for pastors to bring in comedians who end up mocking God, the Bible and the Holy Spirit in the name of cracking jokes.

Bamiloye, in a statement, said such act should be discouraged and it is ungodly and uncalled for in the body of Christ. He said, “As per COMEDY in Church meetings and events. I want to address Christians – ALL denominations – this morning without prejudice!

“For a long while I have questioned the inclusion of comedy in church events. What do I question? The fact that the comedians brought in are allowed to make jokes of scriptures, the Blood of Jesus, speaking in tongues, the throne of grace etc.’ And we sit there laughing!

“What are we laughing at? What is funny? Mocking God and Christ and the Holy Spirit and the Word is funny?

“We hear of other religions where they are obsessed with protecting the image of their Leader and we gleefully allow people to mock our Leader Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and thereby indirectly mocking God!!! They look at us with disdain because we are bad ambassadors of our faith!

“Lukewarmness and cynicism has crept slowly into the life of Christians. We pull ourselves down publicly, abuse leaders of the gospel will glee, mock certain commandments of God. Yet, when we run into trouble who do we call upon???

“Bible has already stated that towards the end times there will be mockers of the gospel and preachers doing wrong. Why are you allowing yourself to be one of them?

“We come into Facebook and spew out curses and abuses – mock the commandments especially when it comes to forgiveness issues and honour of parents etc and we go to church and lift up hands and voices to who? He who we mock with disobedience? We quickly mouth monotonous words – God is in control! Amen! It is well! Praise God etc but do we honour him with our words and actions??? We are humans and not perfect but should we mock the core components of our faith?

“I was thinking of all this since Friday when a comedian was allowed in the stage at the experience to use a scripture in the Old Testament as foundation for his jokes! I laughed also but later felt badly convicted and I said I will speak out – then this morning I received the message below in my Whatsapp and I said – somebody feels the same way I do. It is long but worth reading.

“Those of us here who believe these jesters and comedians are desecrating the altar of God should rise and oppose this when they are brought to your church.

“Go meet the leadership in office and express your mind. Once we don’t create an atmosphere of seriousness and worship, what right do we have to expect the manifestation of God’s glory in our midst? Jesters and mockers can go to wedding receptions and wherever.

“Yet if you mock or despise holy things, you can still come under God’s judgment. They joke about the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus, choruses etc. When they are in trouble and need the blood or the Name, how can it work for them?” Bamiloye asked.

FEMALE FAN PLAYS WITH R.KELLY PENIS LIVE ON STAGE AND SHE IS VERY HAPPY.

A female fan of U.S sensational singer, R. Kelly, caused a stir weekend when she grabbed the singer’s manhood on stage during a live stage performance at the legendary Fox Theatre in Detroit.

The multi-award winning singer, who kicked off his ‘12 Nights of Christmas’ concert, had reportedly walked up to the female fan.

In an Instagram video, the ‘Ignition’ crooner’ sang along as he asked her to wipe his face, chin, tongue, everywhere, with a black towel, then he got up to continue singing when the fan grabbed a handful of his penis.

The singer seemed shocked as the crowd cheered the lady.

TOUCHING: GHANIAN PASTOR NEAMED, OBINIM PERFORMS ENLARGE MEN'S, PENIS AND WOMEN'S BUTT BY JUST TOUCHING THEM. (MOST SEE CLIPS)

Controversial Ghanaian pastor and founder of International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has again stirred up controversies after he said he can enlarge a man’s penis by just using his hands.

He said he has the power to offer anything a human being needs, adding that he could also make women’s butt bigger.

In a scene broadcast on Obinim TV that has now gone viral on YouTube, the pastor was seen touching men by their penis and uttering some words.

His members queued up with their hands raised while he administered the ‘miraculous touch.’

He said, “If you do not like the looks of any part of your body, come to me, what do you want that I can’t offer?

“If you want big buttocks, I can do it for you, if you want big breasts, I can help. If you have a small manhood, I can change them all when I come to the spiritual realm.

Oritsefemi has finally spoken up, about the altercation that happened between his team and Quilox bouncers last week.

The MSM Gang artiste’s camp, released a statement after the incident, claiming that bouncers from the popular Lagos night club physically assaulted the singer .

Quilox fired back with their own statement, recounting what led to the fight and how Oritsefemi stabbed one of their staff in the eye before he was arrested.

The crooner has posted a picture of himself on a hospital bed and wrote the following under the image: “Hello my lovely fans, I know a lot of you have been waiting to hear from me directly. Let me start by saying I’m sorry for disappointing you all. I have never been involved in any altercation before now. I love peace and I would never hurt anyone knowingly. Things got out of hands and I reacted badly, it was a mistake, and I take the blame. I’m human and at that moment I acted unruly.

“I want to thank you all for your support over the years and I understand if you are angry with me, I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you to those that have reached out to me.

“There is no ‘Oritsefemi’ without you my lovely fans. This will never happen again. Lessons learnt. I will continue to give you good music that I am known for not violence. Thank you once again and God bless you all for me….much love my people.”

WOLE SOYINKA VOWS TO TEAR HIS GREEN CARD WHEN DONALD TRUMP WILL BE SWORN IN

WOLE SOYINKA VOWS TO TEAR HIS GREEN CARD WHEN DONALD TRUMP WILL BE SWORN IN

Professor Wole Soyinka has confirmed that he will keep his word and tear his green card, on the day Donald Trump is sworn in as the 45th president of the USA.

Soyinka made the vow last week, while giving a speech to students of Oxford University in England.

According to the literary icon: “If in the unlikely event he does win, the first thing he’ll do is to say [that] all green-card holders must reapply to come back into the US. Well, I’m not waiting for that.

“The moment they announce his victory, I will cut my green card myself and start packing up.”

Trump won the US presidential election early this morning in an incredible victory that has shocked pundits and observers all around the world for the first time since the results of the elections were announced.‎

Excerpts of his interview with The Interview Magazine below:

Did Donald Trump’s victory surprise you?

Not altogether. The possibility was looming nearer and nearer, getting scarier and scarier.

What do you think Trump’s victory means for the world, especially Nigeria?

It’s brought an already teetering world closer to the precipice.

Do you think the victory of Trump, who threatened to build a Wall is a coincidence coming exactly 27 years to the day the Berlin Wall came down?

Trump’s Wall is already under construction. Walls are built in the mind, and Trump has erected walls, not only across the mental landscape of America but across the global landscape. I am glad you referred to the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall – that was one anniversary in reversal!

Will you thrash your green card, as you reportedly said you would?

Come January 20, 2017, watch my WOLEXIT! (Donald Trump will be sworn-in as the 45th President of the United States of America on Friday, January 20, 2017)

At what point did it occur to you that Trump’s victory was inevitable?

As Election Day approached, the specter became near palpable. I refused to switch on the television this morning until I had stiffened myself with a strong espresso. I felt disaster in my marrow.
